NOTE: This system allows for fast rig-in and rig-out (5-10 minutes) and needs no warm-up time. This system allows you to inspect when pulling wet or dirty pipe, and the software generates detailed well-profile reports after the inspection is completed. The ideal inspection speed is 12 – 14 seconds per joint, which on a steady pull, would be four joints per minute. This unit, during field tests over one year, saved an average of 1.5 – 2 hours of rig time.
Yard Tubing Inspection
Inspects for tube integrity, wall thickness, transverse and longitudinal defects and pitting. Cleans and visually inspects threads on pins and boxes and A.P.I full-length drift.
